1. Data controller

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data in your job application is processed by the data controller, TEX GROUP TURİZM LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ (“TEX Group”). 2. Personal data processed

• Identity: name, date of birth, nationality.

• Contact: e-mail address, telephone number, city of residence.

• Professional experience: education, work experience, certificates, language skills, references, salary expectations.

• Interview records: interview notes and any assessment results.

• Image: your photo, if you include one in your CV.

Please do not include special categories of personal data such as health, religion, association or union membership, or criminal convictions in your application. If such information is sent to us, it is not used in the assessment and is destroyed. Any special requirements of a position (for example, a legally required health report) are requested only at the hiring stage and in line with the law.

3. Purposes of processing

• Assessing your application and qualifications against the open position,

• Contacting you, scheduling and conducting interviews,

• Speaking to the references you provide, only with your knowledge,

• Making the hiring decision and informing you of the outcome,

• With your explicit consent, keeping your application for suitable future positions.

4. Legal grounds and method of collection

Your data is collected through e-mail, the contact form, career and job platforms, professional networks, people who refer you to us, and face-to-face or online interviews. Processing is based on the following legal grounds:

• Directly related to entering into a contract (Art. 5/2-c): assessing the application and the hiring process,

• Legitimate interests (Art. 5/2-f): selecting the right candidate and reference checks,

• Establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e): keeping the application for 1 year after the process in case of disputes,

• Made public by the data subject (Art. 5/2-d): professional information you have shared publicly on professional networks, limited to the purpose for which it was made public,

• Explicit consent (Art. 5/1): keeping your application for longer than 1 year and considering it for other positions.

5. Transfers

Your data may be shared with the managers involved in the hiring process and, where needed, TEX Professionals specialists, under a duty of confidentiality and a data processing agreement; with our service providers for e-mail, document and task tracking infrastructure (Google, Asana, Inc.); and with authorised public authorities where required by law. Transfers abroad resulting from our service providers’ servers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contracts under KVKK Art. 9.

6. Retention

• Your application is kept for 1 year after the process is concluded and is then destroyed.

• With your explicit consent, this period may be extended to at most 2 years. We ask for this consent in a separate e-mail at the end of the process; not giving it does not affect the assessment of your application, and you can withdraw it at any time.

• If you are hired, your data is transferred to your personnel file and kept for the periods set by the relevant legislation.

7. Your rights

You can find your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK and how to apply on the Data Subject Requests page. You can withdraw your application at any time and request the deletion of your data.
